Our story began with our founder, Nana Oforiwa, searching for a safe solution to treat her daughter’s severe hyperpigmentation. She turned to African black soap and botanicals, which quickly cleared her daughter’s skin. Inspired by this success, Nana created SinceShea’s signature shea butters to nourish and protect sensitive skin.
Sustainability and ethical sourcing are core to our mission. We work with women in rural African communities to source raw materials like shea butter and black soap, supporting their livelihoods while preserving time-honored traditions. Every SinceShea product is crafted with care, providing safe, effective skincare while promoting environmental responsibility.
